Dolibarr is an open-source CRM and ERP that handles your business back-office — third parties, quotes, invoices, payments, contracts, support tickets, projects and bank reconciliation. It replaces the billing and CRM scope of tools like Odoo, Invoice Ninja or HubSpot, on your own ReefOffice server, with native OIDC SSO.
What Dolibarr does
Dolibarr is one of the most widely deployed open-source ERP and CRM systems. It manages your contacts and companies (third parties), commercial proposals (quotes), invoices (recurring and one-off), payments, bank reconciliation, contracts, subscriptions, support tickets, projects and opportunities — all in one integrated application on your own server. Native OIDC support means your team logs in through Authentik SSO, not a separate ERP login.

Native OIDC SSO
Unlike most ERP systems, Dolibarr's OIDC support is not an enterprise-gated add-on. It connects directly to Authentik for zero-click SSO — one login for CRM, invoicing and every other ReefOffice app.

Electronic invoicing (CII)
The official Dolibarr community module is included and pre-activated for EN 16931 CII electronic invoices. Connection to a certified access point is configured separately when required.

Multi-user with permissions

How it's deployed
Two containers, connected to your identity provider
Dolibarr runs as two Docker containers on your ReefOffice server — the application (Apache + PHP) and a MariaDB database. Both live on a private Docker network. Native OIDC against Authentik means zero-click SSO; the login page auto-redirects. Data is persisted in /opt/dolibarr/documents and /opt/dolibarr/db. Daily encrypted backups capture your CRM and invoicing data.
Your business data, connected to your stack
Dolibarr is the financial and CRM backbone of your ReefOffice workspace. Invoices and contracts reference documents stored in Paperless. Customer files live in Nextcloud. The REST API connects to Activepieces for automated workflows — send a payment reminder when an invoice is overdue, create a Nextcloud folder when a new client is added.
Common questions
Can I migrate from Invoice Ninja, Odoo or another system? +
Yes. Dolibarr supports importing third parties, products, invoices and other data from CSV. For structured migrations from Invoice Ninja or Odoo, ReefOffice can help plan the migration during onboarding.
Is Dolibarr really free? No licence fees? +
Yes. Dolibarr is released under GPL-3.0+ — no licence fees, no feature gates, no managed-service restrictions. It was chosen over Invoice Ninja (Sustainable Use Licence) for exactly this reason.
Can I issue e-invoices for French and European mandates? +
The official electronic-invoicing module is included and pre-activated. ReefOffice currently supports the recommended EN 16931 CII format; Factur-X will only be offered after Dolibarr 24 has passed our upgrade and interoperability tests.
