What Odoo does
Odoo is one of the most comprehensive open-source ERP systems available. It covers the full range of business management needs: CRM, sales, invoicing, accounting, inventory, manufacturing, project management, HR, and more. ReefOffice offers Odoo as a beta alternative for clients who need a full ERP rather than the modular CRM and invoicing of Dolibarr. Odoo and Dolibarr are mutually exclusive — you can only run one on your server.

Technical detail
How it works
Odoo runs as a Docker container with a dedicated PostgreSQL 16 database on an isolated Docker network. SSO is handled through the OCA auth_oidc community module (non-core, community-maintained, pinned version). A break-glass admin login is also available via the /web/login path. Odoo and Dolibarr cannot run simultaneously.
How it fits your stack
Odoo integrates with your ReefOffice stack through Authentik SSO. When Odoo is enabled, Dolibarr is automatically disabled since both ERPs cannot run at the same time. Activepieces automations can connect Odoo events (invoices, orders, leads) to Nextcloud, Hermes, and other services.
Frequently asked questions
Can I run both Odoo and Dolibarr? +
No — they are mutually exclusive. Enabling Odoo in the dashboard disables Dolibarr automatically. ReefOffice's NixOS configuration enforces this constraint at deployment time.
Is the SSO integration stable? +
Odoo's OIDC support relies on the OCA auth_oidc community module, which is non-core and maintained by the Odoo Community Association. ReefOffice pins a specific stable version and validates it on every stack update, but SSO is inherently less tightly integrated than with native SSO apps. A break-glass admin login is available as a fallback.
