Technical detail
How it works
Postiz is a full-stack TypeScript application with a PostgreSQL database, Redis cache, OpenSearch for full-text search, and Temporal for workflow orchestration. On ReefOffice it runs as a Docker Compose stack of 7 containers behind nginx TLS termination. Each social platform connection uses OAuth — your access tokens are stored encrypted on your server.
How it fits your stack
Postiz integrates with your ReefOffice stack through Authentik SSO for team access. Content drafts can be stored in Nextcloud, and Activepieces can trigger posts based on Dolibarr invoice events or Grist record updates. Analytics exports can be saved to Nextcloud or Paperless.

Which social platforms are supported? +
Postiz supports LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Instagram (business and creator), Facebook (pages and groups), TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Bluesky, Mastodon, Telegram, Reddit, Discord and Google Business Profile. Platform support is actively maintained by the Postiz open-source community.
Can I migrate from Buffer, Hootsuite or Later? +
Postiz does not have a built-in import tool. You will need to recreate your content calendar manually. ReefOffice can assist with the migration during onboarding — we help you set up your accounts, configure posting schedules and transfer your content pipeline.
Is my social media access secure? +
Yes. Each social platform connection uses OAuth — Postiz never sees your platform passwords. Access tokens are stored encrypted on your server and are never shared with any third party. All traffic is protected by TLS. Team access is governed by Authentik SSO with MFA.
